Illustrative arithmetic, not a measured error rate or customer recovery. The €6,000 is disputed exposure until the correct terms and quantities are verified. A corrected unpaid invoice and a recovered overpayment are different outcomes.

A match against the PO is useful. It is not enough when the PO itself carries an old price or leaves out a negotiated term.
An old price can pass a conventional match without being the agreed price.
Freight, index adjustments, and extra fees can become recurring cost.
Short shipments and duplicate billing can overstate the payable amount.
A resolved email thread can still leave the financial record wrong.
Show how much was wrong, how much was corrected, and how much work remains. Each number should trace back to an invoice and its evidence.
